A Bit More History

When we moved to Medford, I joined a lot of local Facebook groups to learn about the city, the history and maybe even try to meet people since everything is still shut down. Yesterday, I decided to post in one of the Medford Memories groups and see if anyone knew any more about the Jackson County Rebellion, led by Llewelyn Banks and Earl Fehl, who owned this house. That group of people did not disappoint! I was sent newspaper clippings, obituaries and gathered a bit more intel into the man and woman who owned this house.

Earl’s wife was named Electa, not Electra.

Sooooooo, we already named the house Electra based on historical records and other clippings we found. I don’t think we’ll change it now, but it’s something to think about.
