The Joys of Homeownership

Our oven exploded. The heating element in our circa 1992 oven broke in half. Again, one more thing I missed while I was in California for work. J contacted the home warranty folks to send someone out. For a week, I have been hoping that it’s just too old and there’s no way they could fix it and we have to get a new range and then of course all the rest of the appliances… I just got word that no, of course not, the guy fixed the heating element and now we have our oven back. Yay.

I mean look at this thing. It’s horrible in every respect.

The only good thing is that now we don’t have to buy appliances the same year we got a roof AND are hopefully, finally getting married. Here’s to new appliances in 2022!
